General Services Division (GSD)
The General Services Division (GSD) provides a variety of business operations, planning and construction oversight to agencies, boards, commissions and ADOA divisions through the following units:
Facilities Operations and Maintenance (FOAM) provides the following services - custodial, grounds, physical security, locksmith, HVAC, Special Events, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance repairs to ADOA’s owned and/or managed facilities.
Planning and Construction Services (PCS) manages the ADOA Building System (including statutory review of construction projects, building renewal planning, annual capital improvement planning and documentation, building inspections, relocations, and tenant improvement projects), oversees the State’s private sector office space leasing program, and provides review and recommendations for legislatively approved Monuments and Memorials.
Fleet Management maintains a fleet of vehicles for use by state agencies and operates the Alternative Fuel Depot.
Surplus Property Management Office (SPMO) is responsible for disposal and redistribution of personal property that is surplus to the State's needs. Surplus Property also manages the Federal Surplus Property Donation Program.
Mail Room oversees the collection and distribution of interagency mail, US Mail, FedEx and UPS for state agencies located in the Capitol Mall area and some agencies outside the Capitol Mall including Tucson.
Additionally, GSD is responsible for Clean Burning Fuel Coordinator function, providing administrative support to the Water Quality Appeals Board and posting public meeting notices in the State Capitol lobby.
