The State Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Site held at the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) closed on April 26, 2021, after a very successful four months of providing the state workforce with COVID vaccination opportunities. During the first four months of 2021, employees throughout Arizona were offered the opportunity to get the vaccine at the ADOA drive-thru site or sites in Santa Cruz, Pima, Mohave counties, including all of the ADCRR prison complexes. The ADOA vaccination program administered more than 20,000 vaccines and vaccinated more than one-third of the State of Arizona workforce.
As COVID-19 vaccines became more widely available throughout the state to anyone 16 and older, the need to run a separate clinic was no longer necessary. State employees can go to any state-run POD, county site, or pharmacy to receive a vaccine.
