The Arizona Department of Administration, on behalf of the State of Arizona, will host a hiring event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 20 at Wesley Bolin Plaza on the Capitol Mall, 1700 W. Washington Street in Phoenix.

The event will focus on veterans, military and spouses from 10 a.m. to noon and welcome all members of the public from noon to 2 p.m. This free event will offer on-the-spot interviews and, for qualified candidates, job offers from a variety of State of Arizona government agencies.

WHO: State of Arizona hiring managers with active guard, reserve and military members, spouses and veterans along with 30 state agencies seeking employees.

WHAT: In-person hiring event for veterans and all members of the community. Interviews and some job offers will be made on the spot. Resume review, interviewing tips and assistance searching for state jobs will be offered.

WHEN: March 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will focus only on veterans, active-duty military and spouses from 10 a.m. to noon. From noon to 2 p.m., all prospective employees for state jobs are welcome to attend.

WHERE: Wesley Bolin Plaza, 1700 W. Washington Street in Phoenix (in the amphitheater area).

WHY: Under the theme “Continue to Serve,” this in-person hiring event aims to connect job hunters with employment with the State of Arizona, where there are currently about 700 open positions around the state. The veteran-focus is a particular audience of interest for state hiring managers, but all members of the public are welcome to this free event.

VISUALS INFORMATION FOR MEDIA: Prospective employees, hiring managers and interview teams interacting and conducting on-the-spot interviews. State Human Resources Division leaders will be available for interviews leading up to the event and on the day-of. More than 200 job seekers are expected to attend.
