Building Renewal Grant: Design Scope Development

After the Assessment is completed (if applicable) and before the Design Phase Grant application is released to the District, a Design Scope Development process is required. This process includes a site visit by the professional designer, and a review of the professional assessment with the Liaison, the District, and their professional designer to determine what is “in” and “out” of scope to correct the identified deficiency. This also ensures the proposal from the professional designer is appropriate for the defined scope of work and is inclusive of any other professional services such as mechanical, structural, etc.
